Assisting Youths and Youth Organisations in Overseas Linkups
The NYC matchmakes youth organisations in Singapore and international agencies that focus on youth development work. The objective of such facilitation is to create a highly-connected, self-sustaining and vibrant youth sector.

The NYC also identifies promising youth leaders to attend overseas workshops and conferences. In turn, these leaders take home valuable lessons that serve to enhance future projects undertaken within their organisation or the local youth community.

Malacca Youth Council - Malaysia

Singapore-Malacca Youth Exchange 2001.

People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM)

National Assembly for Youth Development (NAYD) - Japan

Kagawa Youth Wing Tour (annual event):

PAYM to host and co-ordinate local programme for Japanese including institutional visits to governmental agencies, schools, NGOs and VWOs.

National Youth Achievement Awards (NYAA)

International Youth Co-operation Development Centre (CYDECO) - Vietnam

Singapore-Vietnam Youth Exchange Programme 2000:

NYAA provided volunteers as liaison officers for the Vietnamese delegation.
In return, volunteers formed a delegation to Vietnam for youth exchange.

National Youth Achievement Awards (NYAA)

Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau - Hong Kong

Singapore-Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme 2001:

NYAA formed a delegation of 17 youths to Hong Kong for a youth exchange programme which include institutional visits, homestay programme and interactions with Hong Kong youths.

National Youth Achievement Awards (NYAA)

National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) - Korea

ASEAN - ROK Future Oriented Youth Exchange Project 2005: 

NYAA hosted a 25 member delegation from Korea for an exchange programme in Singapore . NYAA was part of the 11-member delegation  that went to Korea for the out-bound component of the exchange programmme. 

South West Community Development Council (SWCDC)

 

Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau - Hong Kong

Singapore - Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme 2004:

SWCDC formed a delegation of 22 Youths from the Singapore Polytechnic to Hong Kong for a youth exchange programme which included institutional visits, homestay  programme and interactions with Hong Kong youths.

Student Volunteer Corps (SVC)

National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) - Korea

ASEAN-ROK Future Oriented Youth Exchange Project 2001:

SVC formed the 12 member delegation to participate in the exchange in Korea .

SSEAYP International Singapore (SIS)

National Assembly on Youth Development (NAYD) - Japan

Iwate Overseas Youth Seminar (annual event):

SIS hosted a group of Japanese youth in Singapore . The Japanese visited various institutions and participate in a homestay programme.

Junior Chamber of Singapore
(JCS)

ANSOR Youth Movement - Indonesia

ANSOR YM's visit to Singapore 2001:

JCS organised a 5-day local programme for ANSOR YM which included institutional visits to PAYM, JCS and Young PAP.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic

CYDECO ( Vietnam )

IT Study visit to Singapore :

Ngee Ann Poly played host to a group of Vietnamese IT specialists who were studying IT developments in Singapore .
