Our team has opening for the following position:

(A) Assistant Director (Youth Engagement and Expeditions)

You will lead a team in spearheading, promoting and developing local and international volunteerism and community engagement. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the administrative and operating framework of the programme

• Formulating, implementing and reviewing work plans for the section

• Supervising and guiding staff in assessing project proposals and grant applications

• Facilitating and supporting the implementation of local and overseas community projects and programmes by stakeholders and partners

• Establishing and maintaining relationships and networks with local and overseas youth and youth-related organisations.

For position (A)

You should possess:

• A good degree in any discipline

• Good analytical, writing, communication and project management skills. Have excellent interpersonal and marketing skills to promote youth sector development work

• A macro perspective of issues and an eye for detail

• Been active in or involved in volunteer work, social work, youth development or policy development work.

• Candidates should have a minimum of six years experience in a related field, with at least two years in a supervisory role, and a pioneering spirit with the ability to conceptualise and promote new programmes.

• Formal training in youth work and experience in international volunteer work are an advantage
